Rainy Day Policy for Grilling Classes

If there is rain in the forecast, check your e-mail and voicemail the morning of class. If the class is cancelled, we will notify you by 8:30am on the day of class. If this is not early enough for you because you are driving from far away, please e-mail us at least 24 hours before class so that we can notify you earlier. If you don't hear from us, the class will happen as scheduled.

If we expect a drizzle:

We will still hold the class. Bring your umbrella and come ready to grill.

If we expect a downpour:

We will move the class to the same time on the following day. For example, if the class was scheduled for Saturday at 10am, it will be held on Sunday at 10am. If you can't make it on this date, you can get credit towards another class. If rescheduled class gets rained out too, we'll issue you a refund.

Frequently Asked Questions

I registered for a class, but can't make it. Can I send someone else in my place?
Yes. Cooking classes are not like airline tickets -- there is no fee for transfering them to another person. Just let us know who is coming instead of you.
I am using a gift certificate to pay for a class. If I cancel, can I use the gift certificate later?
Gift certificate funds are applied to a class at the time of registration, so the usual cancellation policy applies.
